Review by hotel critic
Nestled in the tranquil embrace of nature, Eggedal Borgerstue turned out to be an idyllic weekend retreat for my companions and me. From our cozy room with wooden floors and a plush sofa to the delightfully friendly staff, the atmosphere felt inviting and homey, which is precisely what we were looking for. The highlight was undoubtedly breakfast; savoring fluffy scrambled eggs alongside perfectly cooked bacon was a simple pleasure, to say the least. After a leisurely meal, we strolled in slippers to the on-site restaurant for dinner, where we indulged in delicious dishes - a true testament to the value for money this place offers.
